Yeah I'd just stick with color matched.

I'm neutral right now, I'm sure once they're color matched it will be sex!

Full ome lift, nitro charger sports all 4 corners (rear shocks relocated), Dakar pack w/ AAL, 882 coils, diff drop, toytec 1" shackles, trail gear low profile front bumper, Tuff Stuff winch, bamf sliders, RAT skids, BAMF Bed Rack, Tepui Kukenam RTT, RAT rear bumper,
Color match for sure. I'm not too partial to the glass fenders from a looks perspective, but I understand the benefit. Stoked to see them color matched.

Glass looks nice. The black fenders look cool but nothing beats color matched, IMO

Anyone know how much less tire coverage the Bushwhackers give versus glass?

Yeah, no. Not going that direction.

At this point I'm thinking no. I still want the benefits of the snorkel though. It has helped a TON with dust on lots of our trips and is cheap insurance for water. I'm looking at routing options for the air intake now without the snorkel, but at this point I think I'm going to leave the snorkel off.

    Got it and replied.

I realize I didn't post this in the other regarding snorkels/fenders/intake routing. I know there had been some reports (or more likely outright speculation) that in-cab snorkels would be terribly loud. But I hardly noticed it (if at all), nor did any passengers realize it was there.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olF9ikmBQxE

You can barely hear it until I turn off the engine.

Of course, I'm not sure how much difference there would be between 4cyl vs. 6cyl and if the actual route location through the firewall will affect it too. :notsure:

I'm gonna do my damnedest to route it into the cowling, that way it's still high up, has a screen over it, and a gutter/drainage system thingy already built into the cowling.

Jon, I just went back through your build thread to look at how your routed your air intake. At the end of what you posted you said you were going to do a write up, but of course you never did. Liar. ;)

Can you give me any details with what you used inside the cab? Any sort of pre-filter or is it just open tube?

If you're gonna get the new fenders color matched perhaps consider color matching the back fender flares at the same time....or not, just throwing it out there.

It was just open tube since I was using the stock air filter. I posted a write up on TTORA, the link should be in the video description

I found it on TTORA. Gonna have to think about this a bit more. I've found lots of write-ups that said it was really loud in the cab. Which is what I've always thought. I might have to just keep it in the engine bay.

I'm looking to get glass down the road too. I'm interested to see what you might come up with for the air intake

Thought I'd run another idea by you. Might sound stupid and/or unnecessarily complex, but I'm pretty confident you could route the intake through the firewall and straight into the blower unit and and share the air pulled from the cowling. That should cut the noise almost completely and still have better 'snorkel' capabilities than my setup.

Where my intake entered the cab was almost completely behind the blower unit anyway. It wouldn't take much to get a straight route into the blower unit, as it has more than adequate surface area.

Here's the back of the unit, the intake could go directly below where the blower connects to the cowling.

    Thoughts?

Box Rocket, have you removed your sway bar? It looks like you have but I'm not 100% sure.

If you have, what are your thoughts on removing the sway bar?

Yep it's been off for two years now. At the very beginning I noticed a very slight increase in body roll through corners but that's it. Take it off and leave it off.
