I'm going to be building up my new to me 01 DC this summer. Leaning towards the 4crawler one inch body lift and was wondering if you could offer some insight. I will be running 3 inch standard all pro springs in the rear, and Bilsteins/Eibach coils in the front with camburg UCAs. Also considering 1.25 inch wheel spacers but im not sure if that will make the rubbing, if any, worse. Going with MB 11 series wheels, which I believe have 3.75 - 3.5 in backspacing, wrapped in 33x12.5s. Additionally I will be smashing down the pinch weld a little and trimming about a 1 in by 10 inch piece from the bottom of the fender (for Bushwacker Cut Outs). How was the rubbing for you before and after the body lift and before and after the wheel spacers? I do a fair amount of wheeling and will definitely be at full stuff full lock at some point.

I'll give some insight.....I rubbed a bit when wheeling after beating the shit out of the pinch weld...no body lift.....I then went with wheelers bumpstops up front, no more rubbing at all. I'm sure adam can give a better description

Thank you Fernando! I had never really considered the bumpstops. Did you use wheel spacers to get rid of the frame rub if there was any? Also im guessing the bumpstops should prolong the life of the stock CV axles as well...

I do have 1/4 spacers up front to make sure the rims dont hit my calipers...otherwise, I would not need them....never had frame rub to be honest

Hey man, sorry it took so long to reply. I had some rubbing before the body lift. Smashing the pinchweld is a must, and I did some trimming too, mostly to the flare in the front but it sounds like you'll have that covered with the Bushwhackers. I trimmed a bit of the rear fender too at the front, but that could be different for you depending on the rear springs you use. I didn't notice more rubbing with the wheels spacers and actually think there was less.

Not without tubbing the firewall and trimming more in the rear.

i know i would like cruising around on 35s :D but for the sake of wheeling and not rubbing every time i back out of a parking spot its probably going to be 33s

Nice build, This may sound creepy and random but I live near you. I haven't seen your truck around though.
