Nope. I roll with Wasatch Cruisers. I'm one of the founding members, it's been around since 1999. Wasatch Cruisers has played a big part of Cruise Moab since the very first event. We provide a lot of trail leaders for the event and help out in other ways too. Wasatch Cruisers also hosts the annual Overnight Run that is part of the event.

can't go wrong with either...it's wheeling and camping in moab with a bunch of good people, but it seems like you're a little more obligated to attend cruise moab...

Not yet. I currently don't have any responsibilities for Cruise Moab. If I go, I'll be leading a trail or two, but Rising Sun, the main host club has things well under control so if I miss it I doubt anyone would even notice.

Found one of these cheap at my local warehouse where I find lots of odds and ends for the truck. These are normally around $65 and I got it for $17. 200lb holding capacity.

    and a couple of these....

One step closer to my rear swingout tire carrier. :)

Still need to pick up rear frame plates and my hinge, then it's game on.

Very nice pickup for $17. Ive been meaning to pick one up but they are pricey. I'll keep looking around for a deal like you got.
Should be able to help you out on those frame plates.

Mr. Rocket, when you get the muffler installed could you kindly please take pictures of the exhaust and how you cut the tail pipe to eliminate the ehaust hanger. Plus have you made a decision on which winch to go with.

Also could you tell me how the 882 coils rode before you added the bumper. I am considering going with the 882 but a bumper may not be in the near future and I don't want a bone jarring ride. Keep up the great work, I love your truck.

Surprised you went with magnaflow. I had read that it decreases HP somewhat, as opposed to the dynomax.

The difference is so minimal that it is really a wash.

I haven't had time to install the muffler yet. With any luck it will be today. I did not eliminate the exhaust hanger when I cut the tailpipe. I welded a new bracket to the frame and reused the original hanger right at the end of the tailpipe. It's rock solid with no movement.

I neve had a problem with the ride of the 882s even before I added the bumper. But ride is very subjective. Some people won't like it, but I liked the firm ride and it definitely was not bone jarring.

I've heard just the opposite, but HP was not a concern for me. I'm not building a race car where every little bit of power counts. This is more about needing a replacement for a worn out factory muffler with one that has good flow and good sound.

Picked up some 3/16 plate to make my own rear frame plates, and the material for my swingout arm. Once the hinge is hear I'm ready to roll.

Got the Magnaflow installed today. Sounds good. I have video but I can't get it to upload to youtube. I completes the upload but then says the video has been removed by user when I try to watch it. Sorry.
