How are you liking the magnaflow so far? Ricey? Hows the highway sound?

I like it. The first couple of days I wasn't sure what I thought because it was so different from the stock sound. Stock was so quiet, and the Magnaflow isn't what I would call loud, but I could actually hear the exhaust which wasn't the case with the stock setup.

I like the low growl it has now. It's not as nice sounding as a big V8, but it's s great sound for the 3.4L. I don't think it's ricey at all. Highway sound isnt bad at all, but there is constant noise that is there now that wasn't with the stock exhaust. You can just hear the truck more, but there is no annoying drone. With my setup there is a sweet spot right around 70mph (which is conveniently usually my typical cruising speed) where the exhaust is really pretty quiet. Then it really wakes up when you hit the loud pedal.

I went to show my buddy your build and none of your pictures seem to be working. Is it just me or is anybody else having the problem?

    Oh yeah, and...

Yeah sorry. Exceeded my bandwidth on photobucket. I don't want to pay for an upgraded account so the pics will be back on the 25th when my bandwidth resets.

Thanks for your interest and sorry the pics are down for a few days.

Kind of a bummer because I finished up my frame plates yesterday and I'll be building my tire carrier tomorrow, but won't be able to show pics till the 25th. :(

You could just post all tour pics on your tw profile and you won't have the problem of exceeding your bandwidth.

upgraded my photobucket account so all the pics are back!

I'll try to get some pics tonight of my weekend efforts. Finished up my frame plates, and my tire carrier is about 90% complete.

Teaser. crappy phone picks. need to finish a few more things and get it painted. Don't mind the stock spare either, its temp. I've got a real one.

any reason why you kept the tire to one side and not centered?

Better visibility, and it balances out the little bit of Taco lean that I have. Maybe it's just my background with Land Cruisers that always had offset spare tire carriers, but I just like them better that way. centered spare tires are for Jeeps. ;)
