Nice build. are those bronze sleeve bushings for your swingout hinge? Did you add a zerk for greasing the hinge?

I just finished my HC bumper and am about to start on a swingout once I get some frame plates cut.

    Canon 10-22mm. It's a fun lens.

Yep, oil impregnated bronze bushings. No zerk. I got it here.

Looking through your build page once more, I have to say you are a pretty good photographer. Every photo you have, no matter how routine or mundane the event captured in it, has an aesthetic appeal not usually found in the every day forum pic.

BTW, is there a list of your mods anywhere? I was going through trying to find what shackles and OME front coils you were running.

ALSO, it's crazy how the shit you whip up in your garage looks like a fit and finished product.

Thanks. I suppose working as an artist and doing some photography work on the side helps. ;)

Maybe I'll add a mod list to the first page of this thread. Not a bad idea

Yeah, what kind of art? My girlfriend is a budding photographer. It's through her that I kind of learned what to look for in a photo.

I studied Illustration in college, but I've been working as a 3D artist in the video game industry for 16 years. I'm currently an Art Director at a Disney game studio. I got into photography when i worked on the Amped Snowboarding Series (XBOX) for Microsoft. I managed a team of photographers that documented all the resorts in the game. I also was a lead artist on those games.

FYI, mod list added to first page.

Nice. Here's a couple photos of me from taking photos for Amped.

Avoriaz, France. I'm in the green coat.

What size 2x2 did you use for your tire carrier? I am debating what to go with for mine. My boom is 3/16th but was considering 1/8 th for the A frame since weight will be distributed

I'd go 3/16th if you can. You'll be suprised how much leverage is on the entire assembly.

It's a good job but you got the wrong idea if you think its play. ;)

Stumbled onto this old photo from my first outing in the truck after I bought it. 1000 miles across Utah on dirt roads. Started in the SE corner of the state and traversed across to the NW corner of the state over 4 days. Absolutely AWESOME trip!
