No. the bottom of the rear tubes are almost exactly level with the bottom edge of the bedside. So this will actualy help keep the bedside protected a bit more. It's only an inch.

35's aren't going to happen right away. I'm sure it will happen at some point but I just got new tires so there's no need to change them again so soon. I still need to find some glass fenders too. Glass isn't required for 35's obviously but I like the look and won't need to trim them like I would the stock ones.

Here's a shot of the rear tubes. You can see that they're even if not higher than the bottom of the bed so raising the bed 1" isn't going to be a problem.

Its actually pretty common for it to happen. I guess like anything else it just depends on what type of wheeling you do. But its all over Ttora and pirate of it happening to people I've also seen it happen in person

I had considered a 1" BL at one point. It seems a logical choice since it provides a little extra clearance but isn't extreme. Some would argue that the little bit it provides isn't worth the effort but who isn't pushing the limits of their truck to squeeze that extra bit of performance already? Looking forward to see how this turns out.

Nothing beats the feeling of having a truck loaded down with steel and whipping out the welder for some good fabrication.

Good luck with all those bed racks!

No complaints yet. They don't ride quite as smooth on the road as the KM2s but I don't expect a real smooth ride from any MT style tire.

Now that the weather is getting better its not a big deal but the past few months showed that they could really use some extra siping for winter driving. they didn't have great traction on hardpack/ice. I knew that with the KM2s and had them siped and they did much better. With the MT/Rs I decided to try them without extra siping and I would totally recommend having them siped for anyone in snowy climates.

I think that's a good plan. I'll probably have mine siped before next winter too.

I think it's like $10 a tire. Could be a little more though.
