Ok bigtime photo dump. These aren't technically truck mods but the truck is in the shots I'm including them here and will be cross posting in my trailer build thread for those that check there.

so a quick recap of the recent mods to the trailer:

'90s era Factory Alloys (painted black)
33x10.50 KM2s (takeoffs from the Tacoma)
New Tepui Autana RTT with Annex
modified side steps on the trailer
relocated water cans from front of trailer to the sides
custom telescoping rack for the RTT
    custom spare tire swingout

Ok here we go with pics.

Here's the trailer with all the listed mods. This is in "transit" mode with the RTT rack on the low setting.

    few shots with the truck.

Spare tire swingout details. Latch is a simple high visibility hitch pin. Works great and is tight

Rubber bumpers attached to the swingout to keep it tight against the tailgate.

Hinges are geasable hinges I got from Northern Tool. They are a simple bolt design with no bearings. They swing nice and smooth.

With the swing out open and the tailgate down its a nice area for cooking etc.

    Now to the tent rack.

The rack is made from 1.5" square tubes welded to the side of the trailer tub and the rack itself is 1x2" square tube for the platform and 1.25" square tube for the legs that slide down inside the 1.5" tubes on the tub.

Each post has a spring loaded "pop pin" to keep it locked in either the low or high setting. Each corner has a 50lb gas strut to raise the tent.
    _MG_1708_zpsd13d496e_01492cc2280e022213b73f36cc27986ab3f8807b.jpg

Zinc coated handles on the sides of the platform (actually just some cut down ubolts) to help pull the rack back down to the low setting.
    _MG_1710_zpsded2fe8f_b2f7b04a11ef423c0d13c3809651e34acfb6c379.jpg

Pull the 4 pop pins (1 on each corner) and the platform goes up to the height needed to use the annex with the RTT.

Some quick pics of the tent set up with the annex. It was getting dark so I didn't open up all the windows etc.

Wow, that's amazing! That's exactly what I need for the bed of my truck! Haha

I love the low profile of your bed racks, but want a tall one so I can use the annex...

Those old school 4runner wheels you have on your trailer. They're alloys, right?

The more I see these wheels (and just saw them on a 95-97 Tacoma) the more I'm gravitating towards them.

Don't want to go to steel wheels though.

^^^ pretty sure they are alloy.

Adam, amazing truck! I've got the TG low pro comin to my house now. Can't wait to get it. Hopin to get a winch for it at some point. Does it seem solid enough for winching?

I winched plenty of times when I had my tg low profile. You just have to clock the clutch and move the solenoid in order for it to fit.

You get a lot of questions! Since I'm a subscriber to your thread I thought I would help you out. When is the trip? Wondering what your opinion is on the Tepui. :D
