Both of those Greens look really good. And i think a pewter, champagne, or tan would look good too

And ive always love the old school toyota Blue

The Orange looked good. In my biased opinion, I would go with an original but subtle color. Like someone said earlier, dont do "flashy". That steel with the rocker panels sprayed black would pop.

It's already in the Champagne/Tan range. If it gets resprayed it's going to be different.

At this point I'm leaning toward the blue. The closest color I have found to what I want is the Corvette ZR1 blue.

there was something I really liked about my last truck that we called "Aqua Velva", but I don't want it quite as dark. We'll see.

ZR1 blue looks awesome. It will be (like black) a chore to keep clean, but looks glossy and deep when it is clean.

speedway blue first gen! no one can escape the sexy pull of swb

swb is actualyl really easy to clean and hides dirt/dust like a champ. it's the scratches you have to worry about.

    worth a try :pout:

so does your truck need a repaint, or is it just something different you've been thinking about?

It doesn't "need" a repaint. It does have some minor trail damage on the bedsides and the normal minor scratch here and there. It's just more thinking about changing it up.

That Corvette blue is really nice. Maybe spray the wheels gold for a WRX look haha

you think about doing a vinyl wrap instead of repaint?

i have scratches galore on my truck and have been thinking about a vinyl wrap down the line...definitely many cons...won't look as good as a freshly waxed paint, but seems like it would be easier to repair a panel if you do take damage to it..might be cheaper too?

The zr1 blue is gorgeous. The Ford "Blue Flame Metallic" is close to that color also and might be easier to obtain than the corvette blue. It might be slightly darker though, it's hard to tell.

Yeah I've definitely thought of doing a wrap. Unfortunately they can be almost as expensive as paint depending on what you do. But vinyl is a good option and offers some protection from scratches as well.

So one other crazy thought I had yesterday...... I've seen this on a few cars and it definitely isn't for everyone but there are some artists out there that do custom designs on cars with nothing but a Sharpie marker. Yep, a Sharpie. So I scribbled out a quick design in photoshop just to see what it could look like. The UCE 3 badge in the design is the logo for the "Utah Cruiser Expedition" that I'm going on next week. This is the third trip like this so I included that in the design. VERY unlikely that I'll do this but just wanted to try it out. Honestly I kinda like it. I'd want to clean up the design a bit, and kinda like vinyl it wouldn't have to be permanent as a good claybar and polish could remove the marker.
