gotta friend at work, he used to box, was really good at it. i told him that i would be interested in learning to box, but not fighting. he's wanting to to train & teach me how to box, kept asking me to fight. so i finally gave in & told him that i would after some training. so after the 1st of the year im going to try & start some training, he is going to be my trainer. i was just wondering if anyone on here boxes, & how do u all like it? how many fights have u been in? how did u feel during ur 1st fight?

I used to...but the warehouseman does all my boxing for me now.

OHHHHHH you mean like punching and stuff.....I have a heavy bag in my laundry room and I like to act like I know what I'm doing LOL
When I have more time I'm going to try and pick it up. The little bit I know is helluva workout!

    Good luck with the training

I've done the Martial Arts thing, (Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Escrima, Jiu Jitsu & Wing Chun) and have done a lot of sparring. At first, your adrenaline is so high that you get so nervous (scared) but after a couple of minutes all that goes away. Just make sure you take deep breaths and breathe through your nose. :D

i know i will be nervous if i was to ever fight. im not a crowd type person. depending on how i train & how confident i get will determine if im going to actually fight or not! thanks for everyones input & advice. i hope to update this as i actually start training & all.
