Got home from work this evening and we had a hail storm, 3" diameter hail just beat the shit out of my f-150, broke the windshield out and pounded big dents all in it, the wife drove our tacoma to work today and it didnt hail where she was, it would of ruined that truck, i would of been sick if it would of got pounded specially since we just got it a couple of months ago.

No it was a 2013, pretty thick steel on the hood got golf ball size dings, the hail blew right through the big plastic piece between the hood and the window, even dented the thick rubber trim around the side windowx.

Glad it worked out for you OP, but sorry about your F150. My 2014 DC, which I bought brand new, was absolutely trashed by hail before its first oil change. I still haven't fixed it, and probably won't now that I have been looking at it for 3 years.

man I hate hail. Barely dodged a bad on in my old truck. Still ended up with 6 or 8 dents.. People in the area I lived had windshields busted.. I turned on the news just in time,, jumped in my truck and took off to find shelter..

Jackpot! Enjoy the hefty insurance check for damage that doesn't have an effect on the life of the vehicle.
