Newbie here and great forum. I just bought an 18' Layton hardtop Camper that has electric brakes. I am currently installing the Tekonsha Voyager brake controller and have come up with a few questions fo you guys.

    1. The etrailer website DIY instructions list the stop light wire color as being different on the 2003 than the other gen 1 trucks. They list the 2003 as having a green wire with a white stripe while the other years have a green wire with a yellow stripe . The 2001-2004 FSM shows that wire as being green/yellow. Can anybody confirm what the correct wire color is? Is tapping into this wire just below the stop light switch the best option?

    2. The Tekonsha instructions show the controller power & ground being hardwired directly to the battery. Is this typically what you guys have done or can the power be wired into the ignition switch some how? I am wondering if there will be a constant power draw.
