    Fog lights, suspension, wheels
    1) Truck is off, lights off, key in my pocket
    2) I press the brake pedal
    3) the dash lights come on, all lights but headlights come on, and the open door buzzer is continuous
    4) take pressure off of brake pedal
    5) everything stops
    6) repeat = same results

    Hmmmmm...got me?

Only modification are fog lights added in 2002, but have never posed any issues.

What am I missing here? Am I a moron?

    Thanks

Crawl under the dash and see what the brake pedal assembly is rubbing against when the pedal is depressed.

I'm betting you'll find bare wires...

Do you have a towing package installed? I had a similar issue a few years ago with lights doing odd things. Turned out to be the trailer light adapter went up. check there too.

Long shot, but I once bought a car that did the same thing. After trying to figure it out for a week, I found that one of the brake light bulbs had been replaced with an 1156 bulb instead of an 1157 bulb. When you pressed the brake pedal, it would give power to all the lights that would be on the parking light circuit. You hadn't mentioned changing any bulbs, but it's a possibility.

The problem was a bad power converter box with the wiring harness--not bad wiring.
