This topic might have been asked before but I'm on my Kindle and hard to do much research I need to replace the brake pads and rotors on my 2005 Tacoma I'm looking for recommendations of what you would buy, I've been using rotors from Les Schwab and they seem to warp about every three months, time to try something different, thanks for any help I can get.

When in doubt, give the dealer a shout.
Seriously. How many miles did you get before your stock rotors warped? How many miles have you been getting on your aftermarket set?

If you decide not to opt for OE replacements, try and find something with a warranty of at least a couple of years.

I am.going to check.prices.of Oem,I got about 130k before replaceing those, since I have had the Less Schwabb I have about 50k on two sets of LS rotors and I dont plan on buying those again, just asking because I know the dealer will cost a lot for Oem.
Has anyone ever use those power stop rotors with the slotted rotors.?

i was quoted $110 a rotor from a dealer. Go with centric premium rotors.

I just changed my front brakes this weekend. I have 85,000 on the truck and the rotors are still very good! I was surprised there wasn't a single score in them. I haven't changed the rotors since I got the truck and I bought it at 45,000 miles so I would assume they are original. I would take the given advise and hit up the local dealer for a price.

Yeah I've heard OEM rotors last quite a long time if treated properly. I think many people have went over 100K before replacing them.

OEM warped on me in 15k miles. Brembo blanks warped on me in 4k miles.

Go with Centric high carbon rotors.

Were you pulling something heavy? 15K miles seems way way to low. My buddies warped on his 2010 Tacoma at about 60K miles but he said he was pulling a heavy load up and down steep hills.

Nope. Lots of stop and go driving.

Everyone raves about Brembo blanks but they were no good for me. Maybe the Centric Fleet Performance pads were too aggressive for Brembo blanks.

The best setup I have found Is Bosch rotors with factory pads. And that's with any car.

id like to add some advice when you run aluminum wheels always use a torque wrench to tighten your wheel lugnuts. your rotors will last a lot longer if you do this simple thing....

mini antenna... I'm getting to it! Sheesh!
My OEM rotors started warping around 18K... they were toast by 25k. I bought Centric premiums and Hawk LTS pads. Its good to have reliable brakes again!

Make sure when you have your tires rotated that the torque is correct on the lug nuts, the dealer WAY over torqued them on my truck and I think that's what helped killed them.

I'm using the powerstop brake kit with no issues so far. Granted I only have 6k miles on them. Much improved stopping power over stock.
