I waited for 35+ years to get a New Truck I love the looks of the Toyota Tacoma I finally pulled the trigger and bought a New one last Friday the 7th of June 2013. It is 4 days old and the head lights are fogging up from moisture already I noticed it on day 3 but it was raining and I was not sure. I am sure now so it is back to he dealer tomorrow it is 35 miles each way not happy with a issue so quick i want the 2 assemblys replaced PERIOD.:mad::( I am posting pictures to any who want to see. I have not even washed it yet it has been raining almost every day for the past 5 days. UGH

Either your headlights are not sealed properly or they were sealed with moisture in them. Try just leaving your lights on all the time while driving and see if you cant boil the moisture out.

That's a bummer, that's common on aftermarket and modified lights but strange from OEM. Welcome to TW!

That's absolutely unacceptable of a new vehicle. Might as well be safe and examine the rest of the truck for issues.

I will be thank you for that thought. I bought the TRD off road package because I like some of the optons you get. Everyone that I asked just loves their Tacoma I did not find 1 complaint from anyone I asked over 30 owners before I bought my local Firestone store said it was a Top Shelf truck I would be pleased. UGH SO far....

Update Tday I went to the dealer the service manager came over looked at my truck I handed him 3 pictures of the steamed lights as of today about 1/2 had gone away my salesman came over and told me the factory rep would be there tomorrow and decide what they were going to do he said my pictures I printed on my printer really showed the problem. I was nice but I said NO light should be fogged up after only 4 days old and would NOT be happy with any solution other then replacing the 2 assemblies he said he relayed my feelings and that they will be calling me. I told him that this is NOT a good way to start off being in the service deptartment after only 4 days. I will keep you all informed.

Take a pic with a cup of water in there after the next storm. Obviously you will need to load the water, but that should get their attention. It's pathetic and the fact they are stalling on a 4 day old truck is BS? Both lights? That is odd.

Welcome the retired guy... I would be surprised if they don't replace both... We know they should, and I think you can be confident they will. Best to you, I truly hope they take care of you in very short order. Let us know! Mine is supposed to be on its way as we speak, and it has and is supposed to continue to be stormy here... I'll watch my headlights as well, thanks for the heads up!

Might want to have the front end checked for damage, might have had an issue on the dealer lot? My 13 has had no water in the headlights and I bought it in January... Welcome to Tw and congrats.... look forward to hearing the outcome!
