Hello gents, ive purchased a brand new 2020 TRD OffRoad with manual transmission. Loving the truck, but Iam experiencing a very slight vibration/oscillation at around 20MPH that is bothering me. Dealer says it is normal, but I dont buy it. I can feel ithe steering wheel vibrate, ever so slightly , at around 20MPH, very noticeable when decelerating and reaching that speed down to around 5MPH. It does in gear, in neutral, 4x4, 2x4, it doesnt matter. I can feel the same vibration at 45MPH too. Thoughts? Was wondering if it is a characteristic inherent to trucks, Ive never driven a truck before. Thank you.

Have you swapped the tires around? Maybe out of round or out of balance tire.

2019 MT OR and I get a slight vibe when braking at around 5 mph. I didn't have this at first, but noticed it maybe 1K miles ago. Doesn't bug me enough to take it in for service though. Plus, they'd say it's normal.

Tons of threads on this OP. The 25-20 mph vibration is a known quirk with these trucks. It's believed to be caused by a slight axle wrap on deceleration, made more noticeable when braking.

Nothing to worry about though -- it's normal.

No vibration in my truck, but a lot of others complain about it. I would say its normal.

I drove a 2nd gen and i could feel vibration at all times, just a quirk with these trucks i guess. Even my 2007 ranger had no vibrations.

Yeah, I think the ORs are more susceptible to it due to the softer suspension (easier to wrap the axle).

Thanks guys, I ran outside and deflated the tires to 30psi, seems to have helped. Thanks a lot!

Good question, maybe they think it will help achieve the unrealistic MPG :)

Haha! I tried 35 in my tires once and it rode like a brick. 29-30 is perfect IMO.

It seems that for the stock goodyears 29-30 is about right. 35 got me a rough ride at certain speeds.

Mine vibrates more at 30 psi too, but has a smoother overall ride outside of the 25-20 mph vibe zone.

The Dealers seem to have a bad habit of overinflating tires, they set it at 50 in my old 2015 which was nuts!
