breaking in engine

Ok ive put about 500 miles on my truck... and im almost at the end of my period for breaking it in.. here's a question.. do you guys change the oil after the break in period or do you guys change it every 3k miles? or whenever the maintenance is required?

I changed mine at the recommended service interval. Toyota recommends 5000 miles with standard oil.

I changed mine at 1500 miles. Any initial wear (i.e. metal) will be in there if any. Of course, you can always RTFM and follow their schedule, too, but that's what I do.
