Prayers sent Jim... My father just recently had a bout with prostate cancer--Had the whole family pretty scared:(, but thanks to a decent doctor & lots of prayer he beat it. A long time friend of the family also just had a mastectomy and is doing well. (I'm just trying to give you some hope, not trying to diminish what you are going through in anyway). This disease does have many documented instances of the person overcoming it. Hope you can find a way to look at the possibilities and not let it get you down too much. Stay strong brother.

That is really good taking care of your Mom MM. My mom got diagnosed with Breast cancer over year ago, and after a Lumpectomy, mastectomy, and numerous Radiation and chemotherapy treatments.. she has done well. She is almost out of the danger zone, another PET scan coming up in a few weeks. Will pray for your Mother, things CAN go back to normal after treatment. She is lucky to have you.

If you ever need someone going through the same thing to talk to, PM me. Or if your Mother needs someone to talk to, she can talk to my MOM.
