Nope, no vibrations.I used the OME carrier bearing drop to avoid those.

They are a tad stiff when unloaded. But I constantly have weight in the back so I don't get the stiffness at all. They're great with weight.

Nice. If I do a lift in the rear I'm likely going with the dakars. Might remove a leaf or 2 since I don't haul stuff.

    Don't remove a leaf!!!! Haha

I said the same thing. First I removed the 3rd leaf thinking the same thing you said. It felt like stock leafs after that.

Then I re installed the 3rd leaf and removed one of the overloads. Then it wasn't high enough.

Finally I put the whole pack together and it was perfect. I wasted a bunch of time to figure that out.

Did you loose any wheel travel with the fox shocks and coilovers?

    Loose?

No way. I gained travel for sure. Especially the down travel in the rear.

    Haha my bad.

I love this setup.! I was pretty iffy at first spending a few thousand, but after a handful of trips to the mountains I'm very pleased with the choice.

I'm glad to hear positive comments on your suspension mod... I used toytec's lift with Dakars and spc ucas on my 07 with 285s. I was not happy.. pretty much ruined the truck. I sold those components in 2012 and went with all pro's ultimate lift and ran 265/75 16s. That was the best configuration I found.

I had a similar experience with Bilstein 5100s and an Add a leaf. I really hated it. Especially after the money and labor I put into parts and installation. It looked a lot better visually, but preformed no better than stock. But came with a bunch of stiffness.

I've heard a lot of good things about the ARB/OME Kits. I'm Thinking of one of them for the wives 4Runner

Bilstein 6112 front, 5100's rear with blocks, camburg UCA, 17" XD's with 285/70/17 AT 3's and a blackout front grille.
Any rub at all with that wheel/tire combo? The front must be lifted about 3 inches from stock eh?

No rubbing with my current set up. Even on bumps and turns. I trimmed a little plastic from the rear portion of the fender.

Lifted 2.25" over stock in front.

Very nice. I have 17x9 -12mm offset 4.5 backspace wheels--265/75/17 tires and they were rubbing until I put my 6112's on the top notch, bout 2.5 of lift. Just curious what the air compressor is for? I didn't see air bags on the Dakar's.

I use the compressor for tires mostly. I air up and air down quite often when I hit the trails or mountains.

I also use it camping to pressurize my water containers to shower and to have running water. I've also run my air impact gun with it for fast tire rotations. It's a lifesaver

OP truck looks great! I wonder, did you need to do a diff drop in the front as well with your lift or just the carrier bearing drop? I have a similar lift installed and am wondering if I need the diff drop total chaos sent with the control arms or if this part is unnecessary and I could take it off and put my skid plate back

I used both the did drop and the carrier bearing drop. Not sure if it was needed, but figured it couldn't hurt!
