Brilliant! Listened to Recommendations. Satoshi Grill Horn Relocation w/ Lots a Pics

Thanks to OP for the nice guide and pictures. Did this yesterday with the help of this thread.

I found that the only tough part (and by tough I just mean really really annoying) was getting the nut threaded on the back of the bolt, which is tucked inside that metal bar. I ended up having to use a tiny 1/4" drive mini ratchet with just the right length stubby 1/2" socket for the nut. Too big a ratchet or too long a socket and you can't squeeze it between the AC condenser and the bar. Too short of a socket though and it won't be long enough to grab the nut once it's tightened in most of the way.

I used stainless fender washers on the back, as OP did, but just used regular 5/16" SS washer on the front (between bolt head and horn metal). The horn metal is pressed directly against that metal bar, which hopefully isn't an issue. It seems secure, the horns work, and I really don't want to undo all of that.

I think it was asked earlier in this thread, but not answered....anyone know if it is bad news if the horns get dunked? I can pretty much guarantee I'll find some mud hole deeper than those horns now. Someone has to have gotten them submerged at that relocation spot...

Just did the horn mod yesterday. Took me about 45 mins. Pretty simple. I had to unscrew the SRS sensor, but it was easy. The best way to get that nut in the back tight is just put a wrench in there and let it sit. Turn the bolt with a socket and just let the wrench in back use it as a wedge to tighten. Don't even have to touch it.

Great write up!! Tightening the nut on the inside of the bar is the toughest part.

You can also bend one of the horn mounts a little and use the bolt from radiator support(pic two just left of op's mounting point) to anchor them. And you don't need to struggle to access anything. Used a ratchet and a bench vice. Can post pics

I ended up doing two things differently. First I used the opening above the airbag sensor (since I was not comfortable that I wouldn't mess it up if I moved it). Second, I used two existing bolts to mount the horns down low rather than risking my knuckles
