    Can't wait to see what you come up with. I couldn't find a solution so I retrofitted one with some upgrade LEDS:

    Keep in mind the 3rd brake on 3rd gen(double cabs only)are a pain to remove.
    Also, there have been many accounts where the stock 3rd brake light will leak from the factory. Make sure you use a thicker gasket and/or some silicone on reinstallation.

    A few minor things...
    That's good to know. I haven't had any leaking issues but if this goes through I'll be sure to seal it up with a new gasket and maybe some clear silicone.
