It was a long time ago and I honestly can't remember....$500 might ring a bell. I got it locally and through a friend at an accessories shop 8 years ago.

I did a quick search and they're more expensive than I thought! $650+

Do some searching online for cheaper pricing on the Waag's. There are other brands of brush guards out there. Search Google Images for "Tacoma brush guard"
    Also search this forum
    http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/search.php?searchid=1565987
Or this forum For a couple hundred dollars more you could probably find a nice full front bumper for your truck.

The 95-97 trucks should be the same as they have the same front design. The 98-2000 have a different style front end and so do the 2001-2004 have yet another style front end. Not sure about the framing underneath.

In your price range - you're probably better off looking at pushbars. Or Push Bull Bars.

If you scroll back to the beginning - that first picture that Imrubidon posted. Losts of people have these already (I've got a black Aries).

Check out Craigslist. I found one for $50 a few months back. I'm still waiting for mounting brackets, but here's what it will look like. It's a Manik.
The mounting points should be pretty close for 95-04. Like Janster said, the big differences are in the front end, like the grill, bumper, headlights.
