    I was wondering if you could open the taillights like the headlights to black them out? Instead of just painting over the cover. I haven't went and looked or anything so a simple no will work if its not possible.

    You have to Dremel them open. They are plastic welded so they melt if you put them in the oven, and crack if you try to force the seams.
    A guy over on XR did it the Dremel way, looked better than any aftermarket ones Ive seen.
