2nd annual event. Anyone go last year? Thinking about taking my 4 and 5yr old kids. I’m assuming it’s easy basic trails I can do in my stock DCLB 4x4.

I texted the organizers of the Buckeye Bonanza about the skill and difficulty levels of the trails. Danielle said if there is anything above your skill level, it can be skipped and reported in 'scoring' at the end.
Bring my daily driver and was concerned too. But, it is not stock anymore, but I will probably treat it as stock. LOL

    From the organizers:

There will be blue square trails. If you cannot make it to a check, skip it and let us know back at the scoring table and you can pull a card there but you will miss out on the raffle ticket. There is only one course/route.

Thegenerik1, are you going? Let me know and maybe we can run it together.

Looks like we are a go, PM me and we can see about meeting up there. I'm a rookie off-roading, have ridden dirt bikes and raced many many times at the HH upper ranch. I will be taking it slow for sure.

Met up with @n6vmo who camped the night before and had added a couple more Tacos to the group. We ended up with 4 trucks and a 4Runner. Kids and wife had fun as did I for my first time off-roading.

Erik, yes it great meeting you, Yolanda, Mia and Evan. Thanks to Dan, driving the Pro, for leading.
John, in his also stock OR (except tires) and Keith in his 3G 4 Runner. Photos and video later this afternoon.
I have lots to clean up.

A dash cam should be a future mod for for you. :)

Hey Erik (SBR, too, no?) - you should take the fam down South Coast Ridge Road. You can camp at the top lookout (first right turn off before a sharp right (?) turn / no services though), drive further south the next day and then double back through Big Sur.
