Wait for black friday. TRS will have a discount code you can use to get a complete d2s 4.0 w/ bulb and ballast plus harness. From there you should be able to take apart the headlight and swap in the projector.

I did mine for about $500 including TRS'a cheapest projector kit line the ACME H1, new projector housings, front and rear switchbacks, and assembly by a member on here. All from the Black Friday deal.

Right on. So to ensure my understanding is clear; I would be able to buy two of these units and then disassembly my current headlight assemblies and install these new components. Headlight upgrade done?

    Thanks

Some adjustments are needed to align the projectors properly or else the output will be mis-aligned.

Trust me you don't want to reuse your old headlight housings. Get new completely clear housings.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

Is that something I need to get from TRS as well or can the housing be openly sourced?

Amazon! Mine are still going strong. TRS doesn't sell headlight housings. I used these.

Just have to know what you are looking for. TYC or DEPO are good brands. If doesn’t say what brand it is, don’t buy it. Best advice I can give
