So, I got the gauge installed in the truck this past weekend but I still need to get it tapped into the trans lines but here is how it will look when it's all finished.

I placed it where the 4wd switch used to be. Perfect place for it.

    DSC00490640x480_eda1a1c1048d4c7d5e161e8c813d3c7167129f4e.jpg

Got a blank plate from a prerunner and drilled the hole for the gauge and placed it in there once it was wired up.

Then i wired it to the truck making sure I got it into the trucks light dimming circuit so that when I turn on the lights the gauge will dim so it wont blind me at night.

Works perfect. I'm trying to get it all hooked up into the tranny lines before AZ Rocks but we'll see what happens.

Nice build man! I have helped friends build scouts for going to moab and they're not even close to the build of this truck.

First off, great looking machine! Kudos on the build and gratitude for posting up such a detailed and complete build thread. Secondly, I'm finishing up my last term at OSU (Go Beavs!), hoping to find myself back in NorCal at UCSF for pharmacy school (born and raised around the Chico area). I will definitely be making a few trips down south to run around with the SoCal crew. I can only hope that the grad/wedding gift is my lift and tire setup. Enough rambling from me; great job!
