    Thanks guys.

Dan and I got into the shop today to do some work.

We got the links in and quickly found out that we are going to have to do some more cutting and fabbing. The top link is hitting a cross member before the tires are at full bump.

We want the tires to be 1 inch below the inner fenders but as you can see they are from from that here.

    DSC01455Copy_246bdc13487289bbf00b87df8a5e3c5ecbea71f2.jpg

Then we are going to have to cut and notch the frame here as well to clear the coilovers.

how much cutting do you need to make the link fit? thought i saw on your forum another member bent one of their links to make it stuff properly..wonder how that worked for him...doesn't seem like a good option if you're going for a bullet proof setup

When i cut things on this truck I build it back to incorporate why I needed to cut it in the first place with a stronger section than the stock truck had. It'll be more bullet proof when I cut it and rebuild it than it ever will be by bending such an important link. I've seen the bent links before but it's not an option for me. I'll cut and rebuild before I'll ever bend a structural part that can have devastating consequences if it's done wrong.

Thank you very much. The engine and transmission are still stock for now. The interior is still pretty much stock for now. I'm going to swap in the 4.7 tundra motor but first I'm installing an interior roll cage.

OK. Got back into the shop after a few months of dealing with a broken ankle. Here is an up date of where we are now. Gonna have to do a lot of cutting on the frame but thats why they call fabrication.:D
