That framing is perfect! Awesome Job!

And this is the other shot with a little less processing :)

Installed the wheelers superbumps on the front today. I have them on my taco, and they are great.
    image.jpg

Here is a tip if you plan on getting them. Take the hex key it came with and cut it down to around 2 3/4" long and use a box end wrench (preferably a gearwrench) to install it. Easiest way other than removing the LCA. You still have to get the wheels off the ground tho.

Big thanks to Budbuilt! Got the bump out standard bolt on sliders and 1/4" aluminum skids today. Just the ifs and mid for now. Dropped off sliders at powdercoating shop and they will be ready for pick up tomorrow. I ordered them raw because in my experience, they PC gets messed up in shipping from the mainland to Hawaii. But Budbuilt packed them up really really well. I was impressed! Now for some pics before installing! :D
Skids are neatly boxed up in there.

Sliders were individually boxed, strapped, and cling wrapped.

Shiny aluminum skids. Gonna hit them with a coat of self etching primer and some flat black paint.
    image.jpg
Can't wait to get them on! :)
Thanks again to Bud and his family!
    Check them out at www.budbuilt.com

Also my wife wanted me to post a pic of her ARB fridge freezer and goal zero yeti 400 in the back of her 4Runner
    image.jpg
We got it primarily for camping, but she actually uses it quite a lot! She can do a quick grocery run before picking up our daughter from school and not worry about anything getting too warm. There is a 120V power outlet in the back but the truck has to be on. With goal zero she can park the truck and shop somewhere. Goal zero is plugged into the truck, so it recharges when the truck is running. I'm thinking about hard mounting the fridge with a slide out, and maybe a dual battery setup with a hard wired socket in the rear cargo area. It's much more useful than I originally anticipated. Get one!

I got the sliders on, and once again, I hate the KDSS... It made the drivers side such a PITA! :annoyed:
Passengers side was straight forward and easy.
Remove the stock running board: Looks so high! :D

Then remove one bolt for the parking brake and install the slider using any hole that has threads in it. There are extra holes but many do not have threads, and because the 4runner has a fully boxed frame, you cant put a nut on the inside.

Budbuilt makes a nice looking slider tho!

For the drivers side, I unbolted the line clamps for the KDSS and then realized the lines are super hard and not flexible. So then I unbolted the solenoid valve control assembly. There are 2 short bolts on the bottom and one long one at the top corner. This gave me a little more slack in the lines, but still not much.

Gas skid also has to come off. I bolted everything up tight first, then dropped the bolts for the tank skid and reinstalled the skid.

you still need to wrestle it in place. 3 jackstands helped out a little.

I'll post some poser pics after we get it cleaned up

Picked this up a couple days ago. Who needs a long bed? wouldn't have fit in that either!

You know what it is ;)

I am very impressed with everything Gobi has done. From communication, lead time (even during a massive group buy) quality and design, even packing and shipping was great!
The box lots of protective cardboard sheets, and was wrapped well with plastic.

Hardware was nicely laid out in separate packets for each step, and even came with a little packet of Permatex anti seize!

Didn't get any pics of the install, but I will say to read and understand the directions, and follow it well. Do everything it says to do. Do a proper full fit up prior to peeling off the backing from the double sided tape. Check the fit of everything first!

    And it looks amazing.

Ladder is very solid. I was the first to climb up, and I am just over 200lbs. very secure and solid.

I am thinking about getting a Gobi rack in the future for my own Tacoma because I am so impressed with this thing. I also got the upgraded rear door lift struts, and I am glad I did. With the added weight of the ladder, the door would not go up on its own.
    Thanks again Gobi rack! :D
