    enough to go over stuff
Its not fair to compare the exterior surface of a 40,000 vehicle to a piece of metal that bolts on under the car to prevent damage.

Hey sport. I'm 30 with 12 years of active military. It's fair to say I've eaten my Wheaties and am all grown up now.

I'm just giving you a hard time... Thanks for saying I'm not being completely unreasonable.

Appreciate the advice from you and everyone. But as I said in the OP, I know this thing is going to get beat up... Which is why I didn't cause a fuss about it. I just thought it was uncool to send an obviously damaged product and after reading on here, I thought it was a trend.

I'm sure once I bolt it on, it'll look great.

    Crisis averted!

I think the vendor in question at least deserves to know that he is being talked about in this thread, if he doesn't know already.

Calm yourself down a little, Meg.

Nobody said I ripped into anybody, and I would be surprised if the OP felt as sensitive about what I posted as you did, you either didn't read the rest of my posts in the thread or just can't figure out what it means.

Ohh, i'm late to the party then.. haha.
I'm actually in contact with Matt a few times a month, he's been great to me and shipping is punctual. Probably 5+ sales between us.

Not trying to add to the chaos or anything... I purchased one myself, got it last week, but haven't installed it yet. Came super wrapped up in a ton of plastic, and I haven't even taken that plastic off yet. Going to do it all once I have a chance to bolt it on. But so far it looks like it's in great shape. And if it's not, if it has a scratch or two, definitely going to take the advises posted on here about coating it with stuff!

I thought I was being calm. While I quoted you, I was actually directing the comment about not ripping into him to everyone. I was merely backing up his claim and filling in the blanks about the quality of the packaging.

Anyway, I would think you would cut a fellow Nor Cal resident some slack. You know we aren't gud reeders.

    That is an interesting thought..

I will subscribe to that, unless you're from Marin. Then that bet is off.
