I don't know anything about Marin, but I'm new to living in the bay.
P.s. To anyone wondering - City life licks dicks.

Bay area isn't bad.. agreed on the city life. Come up north a bit, it's a nicer existence.

Working on it. Trying to move closer to where you are, but commuting to the east bay isnt fun from up there.

I just moved to Florida from the Sacremento area. The State and outdoor living is beautiful. CA politics are for the birds....

    x2.

Best area in the state, but there is a price tag for the access - mainly, dumb people.

Respectfully, I disagree. North bay is ok. I think the best part of NorCal IMHO is around mile marker 796 on I5 northbound where you see the sign that says Welcome to Oregon.

I enjoyed Oregon... until I stopped to get gas and some guy told me I couldn't pump my own gas. I said "Like hell I can't pump my own gas!" Well, come to find out... I couldn't legally pump my own gas. It sent me into an anti-government lecture that I'm sure the poor guy didn't want to listen to. I then had to let him pump my gas. Haha!

Other than that, Oregon was awesome! Especially the Brew houses in Portland.

I have nothing against Oregon, just thought it was funny when I saw it on the way to visit family.

Pumping your own gas is barbaric. Funny thing is after living in OR for a while I took a road trip out of state. I pulled up to the gas station and sat there for a while, after a few minuets I started getting annoyed that no one was coming out to fill up my truck. thats when i realized I had to do it myself.

    Oh you poor peasant! Hahaha.

What makes me mad is the fact that business owners have to pay for menial labor to meet a requirement by the state. The state does it to keep the unemployment low. That's great that they want to give people jobs... but the outreaching career of 'gas pump attendant' won't put bread on the table for anyone with a family. So when Joe at the corner store knocks up Betty-Sue, and Joe's only skill set is to pump gas, he'll be in a bind. Forcing him to require state/federal aide. Idk how I feel about it. It's a cool service, but shouldn't be dictated by the state to make it a mandated policy.

    Ha! Ha!
I hear you. The law was in place when I moved here in '97 so I had no say in it. At this point I am so used to it that I dont even have an opinion on it.

    Nothing yet....im a poor bastard.
that's how mine looked. the heavy duty tow hook had rubbed some paint off the engine side of the skid. items with that kind of weight will move when being shipped. Not a big deal. maybe i can get mine installed this weekend.
