How much movement do these front bumpers have when just driving around? On my 98 4runner and '11 xterra when driving around the city (both have ARBs) the hoopes didn't move much at all (not visible). However with the ARB on my 06 4runner (which I'm guessing is very similar to my '12 tacoma) the bumper moved a lot. Going over a speedbump or hitting a small bump in a corner, you could see the bumper moving around.
The bumper was installed correctly. On the 4runner (and maybe the tacoma) the ARB had some long mounting plates that couldn't help the rigidity).
The bumper moving around just bugged me, looked cheap. If i go with one without the hoopes I wouldn't notice the movement since I couldn't see the bumper while driving. I'd really like the hoopes since I in deer country a lot.
