    hey, it's me again.
Sorry for all the posts in one night, but I've had a lot of questions and just never took the time to join. Working 12 to 18 hour work days doesn't give me much time or energy to do much of anything else.

My front (original) bumper and rear (after-market replacement) are finally giving-out. They are rotting and the rest of the truck looks really clean, so the bumpers really standout.

I was considering buying set from jcwhittney that look like the originals. But I'd like a nice set of heavy-duty bumpers that look tougher. There are a lot of them on the market, but I'm just too cheap to spend $600 to $1300 on a bumper.

Any have any suggestion for bolt-on front & rear bumpers in the $100-$200 range?

    Thanks again.

There's no new plated or tube bumpers in the $1-200 range. Unless it's used and even that, may require some work.

Your best chance will be aftermarket brand factory bumpers or get a damaged multiplier guard.

Cheapest front number you can get is the trail gear low pro tube bumper for a little over $400. It’s a great bumper especially for the price. If you have a welder, or a friend with a welder, you could opt for the CBI MOAB 1.0 DIY bumper at $425 (last I checked). Finally, coastal Offroad has the best prices on assembled bumpers from what I’ve seen but they ship from Canada, but even with the shipping, cheaper than others.

So I take it you have a 1st gen, too, aside from your 2014?

Even if you went to a wholesale steel supplier and bought your own raw materials, you've looking at least a hundred in steel.

The DIY kit I got from CBI was ~$450 plus shipping. My build thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diy-1st-gen-tacoma-front-bumper.584372/

If you're on this tight of a budget, I would suggest just sanding them down and repainting them. Get a sweet lightbar or something to distract people away from your stock bumpers. That always seems to work, lol
