So i was driving to the store yesterday, and I had the heat on low. I started getting a strong electrical burning smell through the vents. I pulled over, lifted the hood, but couldn't find anything. The smell dissipated and I drove on with no problems. About two hours later i got in my truck to go somewhere, and the ABS light came one, and won't go off. Any ideas? I tried on a quiet side road to lock up my brakes and see if the ABS kicks in, and couldn't do it.

Thanks DD, I'll check that tomorrow! And no, everything else works just fine.

Check wheel speed sensors if they are rubbing against the tires! Seen this many times with abs and brake pad wear sensors on BMW's at my shop.

Hello all, sorry for being away from the thread, I was doing the xmas thing. So....

    * Update- The ABS sensor light has gone off. Now, every time I tap the brakes, the odometer Backlighting blinks. I have no idea WTF is going on but this is starting to get comical.
