YOU started the barrage of emails, and whatever after 1 day of placing the order. 4 business days elapsed before you decided to attack him and label him as a scammer."

Then continuing the I am a scammer scamming the scammer narrative and talking about two packages when the crux of the biscuit is only tracking provided for one and still unable to produce the second tracking # but yeah I am definitely the scammer LOL

I'm sorry. File a cc dispute yesterday-as-possible. Scammers are very common in the aftermarket arena.

And from now on, I'd avoid any website that sounds as, um, unprofessional as bustabeatgeorge. I'd stick with talking directly to the manufacturers of things.

 

Buying products from influencers seems to end up with endless grief for people here. Welcome to 2023 I guess!?

He has already by email:

"Look man, I don’t have time for your childish emails. I’ve been in contact you since your first email, Asking for multiple request and updates and I’ve replied and updated you. Go back and read them. " 3/27

Those two emails are:

"Hi! Yes it’ll go out today. "3/22
"Hi, it went out yesterday. I’ll resend tracking shortly" 3/23

This is despite having never sent the simple thing requested which was the tracking #. Also despite having never shipped the item until today - well actually he still hasn't shipped it he has just created a label.

Also forgot here is my typical childish email:

may I have the tracking # on this order? thanks 3/27
may i please have tracking #? 3/25

Definitely not the end of the world and I more just share the experience for others to be aware of. I have read plenty on here where I am like nope - not buying from that clown. I will stick with my diy version of the products hes peddling. @Ricardo13x I can live with two "labels" being created. Shouldn't cost jorge a dime other than the time to create them.

 

Final update - reached out to the actual vendor and got a reply instantly. Should have just purchased from them direct vs. dealing with Jorge. They already were willing to refund the cost of the item - which isn't necessary as I wasn't looking for a freebie. they are throwing in some stoke and I will stoke them back out as I have some pretty good connections in the outdoor clothing world ( I see jorge wearing the gear all the time). Anyhow definitely last purchase I ever make from an influencer. Honestly I had no idea who jorge was as I live under a rock for the most part and don't use any of the popular social media platforms. Thanks to the moderators for the heads up on tagging people. I didn't realize that was something we should do on here as some platforms see that as being combative. I do admit @tcBob saying my douche to helpful post ratio is to high as I thought I had provided some helpful insight on the questions I believe I could provide insight on that others were asking. Oh well tomorrow should be a better day. You might need to tag jorge 14x over the next 7 days to get him to respond though so don't anyone hold your breath.

 

I get what you’re coming from since I lack of patience with simple tasks when conducting business. I fought a water vending machine that did not issue the right amount of change back. Something I learned working customer service is that you should never mess with people’s money and, if you can not meet customer’s service, then ask for help. But there’s a big difference between scam and a customer service that doesn’t meet your standards. When looking for a product I tend to go directly with the manufacturer, since there’s more to work with when dealing with an established business. Glad the issue got indirectly resolved dude.

 

It’s a hit or miss in with these influencers. He did sell my friend a tembo tusk fridge slide for a major discount, but that was in one of those rigs meet and greet event.

 

That's unfortunate. I ordered from him a few months ago and had no issues getting my items. It did take him a bit to get things shipped out but I was patient and just let things happen.
