I am your average weekend diy under the tree tinkerer (would not dare call myself a mechanic). What would be the challenges of owning/operating this truck should I pull the trigger on it, being that it's a 28 yo truck but with a low 70k miles on it? Is there any surprises that lurk under a V6 than a 4 banger?

I grew up on this truck but the 4 cylinder, plus 80's Land cruisers and Toyotas in general. I do know it was a reliable truck. I don't know about V6 and it being a 28 yo I wonder if it will be prone to more things needing to be replaced and are s/parts availability a challenge? I love going to the junk yard but I hardly see this era truck there.

I don't know anything about this truck other than what you see here. I plan to check it out on Monday if it can pass TW advice.

My intended purpose is as a daily with octagonal runs to Home Depot etc
