buy new or used

07 4x2 trd sport 4 door 28,000 miles 4dr- $22,000, Or 08 off the lot 4x2 trd sport 4 door drive out for $25,000. What do you guys think? New or Used?

 

New, $3,000 more for a new one & you also gotta remember the warranty is 3 years 36,000 mi. unless you buy the extended & there are all kinds of incentives on financing (unless your paying cash).

The 07 & 08 are virtually identical. I like new cars because they are new and I am the only asshole driving it..... you never know if the guy who had it before you drove around in 2nd gear all day just before he traded it in.

 

Spend the extra 3K and get it brand new.

 

I am extremely supportive of buying used but for 3 grand I would say buy the new one. I saved about 7 grand on the 07 I bought used this year.

 

Get it new

 

New. Resale on Tacoma's is so high it just makes sense to buy new.

 

New. Like everyone else said. Don't know what the previous owner did, it's only 3grand more for a vehicle no one else has messed with, and interest rates are lower for new if you finance it.

 

New. 28,000 miles is a lot for a 1-year-old truck. As was said earlier, you'd only have 8,000 miles left on the standard warranty. For $3K, it's worth it to buy the newer one.

Thanks for all the imput fellas. I have decided to go with the new as well. I am picking it up Monday after work.

 

The 2009's probably won't be out for 4 months or more so they probably won't come down much more at this point.

New for all the reasons above. Warranty would be a concern if your making payments for awhile.

 

If I had the option I would have waited for the 2009's (I really wanted Taco green and I hear they are bringing it back for 09).
