I'm guessing that usb outlet takes a 12v supply? Where do you plan on tapping? New circuit or same as the other usb's in the middle console?

 

Do you think that oem bezel will work on the back of the center council? With the slight curve.

 

Same as the other USBs in the middle Console. I’m about to make a post with my build and there will be some pics that show my middle console and it has my first mod that I did with my three USBs. Maybe I will also link it to my build page where I have the write up there too.

So you have the bezel mounted inside the console?
I was thinking about mounting mine on the outside facing the rear passengers. Other than the Class A show surface being in jeopardy, do you think there would be much more involved to install it that way?

 

I think you will be fine. Take a look at my other two links I posted within that post. I have other things that I have installed on the back side of my Console so I am not able to install this there. I do, however, have other ideas of installing two more of these in two other door panels really soon once I receive them that I will be doing a write up on as well that I think people are going to want to match too.

 

Where did you get the USB Power Port(00016-00225) from @KTJO 4x4 ? I tried searching for the part from mcgeorgetoyota.com but it didn't pull up. Could you please point me in the right direction?

It's an ML-ACR switch for controlling a dual battery setup, methinks.
