Hey guys. I'm buying a 2005 Tacoma TRD prerunner friday. I'm not new to forum as I have a 2005 wrangler unlimited rubicon that I have built to rock crawl anything. The truck is to haul me to and from work and tow my jeep to and from trails.

I was hoping for some insight as to things I should look out for and what should be checked on first.

I'm changing the oil, air filter and plugs when I get it home but other than that what else should I look at.

    Heres what I'm picking up

It's bone stock and very well taken care of.

I want to black out the lights and put a billet grill in it in the coming months as well as find some 2010 Trail Team wheel and tire take offs for it.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Are you towing the jeep on a trailer? I'd make sure you know the combined weight of jeep and trailer before you dive in. I towed a 73 cj5 with mine on a 16ft car hauler and it did fine but don't expect spectacular highway performance with it
