Allow me to introduce myself, I am the previous owner of a '70 FJ40 which I loved. The next two vehicles were both F150's, although the first would have been a Taco if I could have gotten it equiped the way I wanted. It's that time again and I have been shopping around for a new vehicle and am currently thinking about picking up a Taco. It would be a TRD 4X4 double cab with bed length just long enough to haul a big cruiser...haven't pulled out the tape yet to find out how much room I need.

Anyway, I am trying to plan out the "upgrades" I would do and am currently thinking 5100's for the front, OME springs for the rear with the possibility/probability of air bags, and the TRD SC. It will come from the factory with TRD exhaust and I would like to do something with the intake as well. I am also really interrested in the URD 2.85 SC pulley.

So my questions are: Do I need to look into additional fuel upgrades to go along with intake, exhaust, SC, and undersize pully? Is there something available for the 2010+ Taco's to aid in fuel management?

That's the truth. Are you expecting to buy a bolt on application that improves mpg? The best mpg your going to get is stock. If your that worried about gas you wouldn't be putting a lift either.

I've been lurking for a while and know about the X1. I have also been searching all over for info on SC 2010+ fuel upgrades and haven't seen much. Thanks on the Unichip lead.

So, should I be concerned with fuel delivery with my planned mods? As I said, I haven't been able to find much info.

It does come with bigger injectors. I'm wondering if they will be able to keep the AFR correct with exhaust, intake, and the URD pully.

With this being a new truck, I will probably end up holding off on the URD pully so I won't have any warranty issues. But then, I may end up getting it anyway and just make sure I change it back to stock if I have to take it into the dealer for anything...I'm sure they would investigate further if they are seeing more than 6# boost when they hook it up to the computer.
