I'm buying these wheels from a guy on CL tomorrow. Got him down to $170 without the center caps and $200 IF he can find them. I would much rather pay the $200 and have the center caps but I'm going to take them either way. Question is can I find replacement center caps if he can't find them and about how much do they run? thanks!

You can find center caps for those wheels pretty easily but they run $20-30 each used. I priced up some new ones a while back and they were around $40 each.

Thanks for the input guys, I offered him $150 for them, but he said that he had them weighed and the scrap yard would give him $170 for the metal. Think that is a possibility or BS?

you think? i don't know anything about how much metal goes for at a scrap yard.

Also, I'm getting two different sizes on this wheel. Are they a 15" or 16"? Did Toyota make these wheels in both sizes?

I am pretty sure that they are 15". Every pair that I have ever seen in that style was 15".
Those wheels pretty much suck anyway.
Hey I have a pair on my vehicle so I can be a critic. :D

I just like the look of them more then the wheels that are on my truck. I ordered 16 inch tires already so I have to find a 16" wheels. I would like to keep it some sort of toyota wheel, I don't want my truck to stand out.

    That's pure bs.

I'm in the demo business, and scrap steel in my area is going for around $80/ton. Do those wheels weigh 2 tons?

    Sorry, thought they were steelies.

And as far as aluminum goes, the price per pound depends on what alloy it is as well. Not all "aluminum" is the same.

I would bet that they guy at the scrap yard was giving you a price like that because he wanted them for himself, and not to put in the scrap pile.
