bye bye Chrome grille

I really dont like the chrome grille that came on my taco and ive always wanted a base model one. I noticed a couple weeks ago that my chrome grille was starting to get small air bubbles in it (most likely from rock chips) but still they show like crazy especially with chrome. anyways I went to the dealer to get a price on a base grille and told him what was happening. anyways the warranty guy looked at it and said they would give me warranty and i asked for a black base model grille and they said that was fine. and i guess its a win win for everyone because im sure the base grille is cheaper than the chrome for them and i get to get rid of my chrome

Hmm...I need to check mine for bubbles. I'm on an anti-chrome crusade myself. Stupid me, I should've gotten a body color rear bumper when that illegal turd rearended it a year and a half ago.
