    edit2: ok that sounds decently bad. There will be stipulations and it would be nice to hear from a program official as to what this will entail for knives already in our possession.

    it said any knife you can open with one hand aka all pocket knives, any spring assisted knife is illegal in VA anyways

    I happen to really like assisted openers, they are very practical. Often when I need a knife, one hand is being used by holding what it is that needs cutting.

    I can think of no good reason why even switchblades are illegal, no good argument for it at all.
