Sorry to say guys but I decided to trade my '11 tacoma in for a '11 supercab f150 4x4. I like the ford so much better . The tacoma was just having too many problems for a new truck and I wanted something that could tow with ease. Needless to say, i still have my firestone riderite airbags for sell! They were 200 but I'll drop down to 190. Thats my last offer on here before I attempt to sell on Ebay. PM if interested.

Congrats! I was actually just looking at them before buying my 11 Tacoma. Amazing truck - just too big for my needs so decided to go with the Tacoma. Best of luck with it

give us the poop on the Ford! Pics too. Which v8 option did you get> I would consider one-but honestly, I hate the oversized body panels on Fords and GMs nowadays. Toyota is guilty of it on the stock Tacomas too. To my eye they are so disproportionate, you almost have to run out and buy oversized tires and wheels just to balance the look. I hope they tone it back down on future models.

I think with the FX4 the only options are the 5.0L V8 or the Ecoboost V6.

Not sure why on all the negative comments? My tacoma was a POS. The steering wheel rattled, it vibrated between 20-30mph, it couldn't tow worth a damn(suspension), the stock speakers sounded awful....and the list goes on. The truck was brand new and it had all these problems. Yeah there are TSB's out for all of this stuff but it shouldn't even be an issue with a brand new truck. Anyways, I got the 5.0L. I love it, and getting BETTER gas mileage on the highway than my tacoma. I attached a pic of the airbags if anybody is interested.

I drove the ecoboost and it was impressive but not for the price tag. The 5.0L is only 0.3s slower 0-60 than the ecoboost. Plus it has more power from the get go than the ecoboost but of course once the turbo's kick in on the ecoboost it passes the 5.0L pretty quick. I did alot of research and if you read the reviews off of news.pickuptruck.com, they say they 5.0L is possibly the best all around engine ever made.
