I know I will be in the minority here but I tend to agree with the law.

In Canada only law enforcement carry loaded firearms legally!

I couldn't imagine how hampering it would be as a police officer responding to a call for shots fired and showing up only to find that every other yahoo walking the streets is armed to the teeth!?!?

Now that said, I am all for gun ownership. I have a few myself. But leave them at home. Hell not only am I allowed to carry mine off duty I'm encouraged to and I choose not to. Thoughts of even the most simple thing, like being incompacitated in a car accident and having some shit head walk off with my Glock.

You are worried about someone taking your gun if you're incompacitated in a car wreck, yet you dont carry off duty? If its that bad, where someone would steal a gun off a body from a car wreck, I'd probably start carrying. You sound like a sheep who puts on a sheepdog costume every night. You should always be ready for the fight.

I would hope its not that bad, but if you knew the first thing about crime you would know that most are crimes of opportunity!! As for the sheep comment?? Really? Not sure who the sheep is here. I don't need a gun to solve my fights!! At least not the ones that happen up here. Not sure what shitty hell hole you live in, that you need one??

I see you put the emphasis on legally in your first post. I would assume that means people who arent LEO also carry loaded guns, thus breaking the law. There is obviously no crime where you work, so you wouldnt have to worry about rolling up on a "yahoo" walking the streets armed to the teeth, but real cops do..on duty and off. There is crime everywhere and guns and crime walk hand and hand. Just because Canadian LEO's are the only people who can carry loaded firearms, doesnt mean criminals wont. So God forbid, next time your driving down your crime free streets, looking at your crime free town and some yahoo jumps out armed to the teeth, you'll wish you had your gun. Sorry, forgot your a sheep, so you'll prpbably turn around and drive the other way. And in case your not sure of the sheep, sheepdog, wolf reference....here ya go. please read. http://www.21stcenturypaladin.com/2007/09/sheep-wolves-and-sheepdogs/
