I'm considering buying a cab-over camper (pic below) for my 98 Taco Ext Cab. My Taco has the 3.4L and I have already put in the ride-rite airbags.

This camper weighs in at 1000 lbs, is 7-1/2' long in the box and is not a pop-up.

I'm unsure of how my truck is going to handle the weight and the higher center of gravity. I've seen Tacos and other midsize trucks with these, but haven't ever driven one with a camper at highway speeds, in the mountains, backroads, etc.

Advice from anybody with experience in this would be great! Thanks
