I am in the process of deciding what brand I want to go with for a Cold Air Intake, what does everyone have right now? I have been looking at a bunch but I figure I would ask the TACO drivers!! Any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks!

Overpriced stereo and alarm. MBRP Dual Exhaust.
I had a AFE, but sold it last month and decided to get TRD to not void my extended 100k warranty. They are both bolt-ons, but it seems to me that the AFE had better throttle response. I did not DYNO, but I am told that both put an avg output of 15WHP. I hope this info helps.

AFE is a big piece of metal and gets heat soaked. K&N or Volant offer better isolating form the engine bay and colder air. I am ordering a Volant with the scoop option.

unfortunately, you will not see a 15whp gain from just that CAI

Well maybe if you have the outside air being rammed over the filter :) and it is 70 degrees outside.

I saw the one of the threads the UMR was it? It is right in front of the radiator. Can you say Vapor Lock... I mean it works in theory but come on this is a street / off road vehicle.
