I've been watching all the different mileage figures in several different threads and some of the figures are really disappointing to see. Not sure how the mileage numbers are being noted, so to eliminate the computer on the truck, I always right down the miles driven and gallons to fill at the pump. It would be interesting to see if the bad mileage is real. I'm pretty happy with mine, but I get pretty good mileage. Here's my tank average calculated for the first 5 tanks.

    19.05 mpg
    19.37
    22.6
    22.5
    20.2

This is with the stock SR5 4x4 DCLB V6 auto. No lift, standard tire size. I seldom use ECT mode.

Good for you. Love seeing folks do actual arithmetic! After several tanks, running an average will smooth it out even more, eliminating quirks on a per fill basis.

Go to your Fuelly account and look on the right side of the page. You will see the heading, click on it and follow the instructions. Copy the address shown into your TW signature line. The banner will appear the next day.

and as of now my truck is telling my my average milage overall is 19.5-19.6 which I can credit to me easing off the gas pedal and driving the speed limit instead of 65-75 everywhere I go. Tank averages have been up in the 20-21MPG range since then too.

The odometer is not accurate either, at least on the OR, So if you are hand calculating you should take that into account as well. My odometer is under measuring by 2.5%.

Chiming in because I think the Fuelly site has changed and this can be a little hard to find.

    1. Log in to Fuelly.
    2. Go to your TRUCK's page. Should be listed on the left side menu with a picture of a key beside it.
    3. In the lower right corner there will be a "Share Your MPG" box. Click on "View all badges and stuff you can share". Then just copy the link of your choice and paste it into your TW signature.

    Hope this helps someone!!

I've been tracking mine with Fuelly and just use the app on my phone. 20.5 has been my best so far and 16.6 has been my lowest.
