So my girls truck slowed down for a while until she gets her own cash..
figured ill keep track of whats going on with my truck

I don't have pictures of everything, but there will be ALOT of pictures

Ill start from when I got the truck

well I started with this guy

    IMG_1782_0857e0a947bbc11ab0a9faf95949604cb8eaf477.jpg

Decided that I was going to be dedicating a lot of my time/life to offroading and saw fit that I needed to ditch the new wheels and getting something more... fun :)

    or-carp10070n1_8ccb6fcd79358bb3c52244f163fc1f705364c59e.jpg

    or-carp10070n3_defd37be1cb99a20197dea5a8240363659f46c27.jpg

Then i saw this ad on RDC month or so later... ended up talking the guy into trading my truck for his truck (complicated situation)

    and pretty much I scored.

it was built by HNM in 2000-2001
it had Camburgs first Lt kit for the tacomas (mix of b/js and uniballs)
a custom 3 link made by hnm
    Currie 9 inch rearend
    Detroit locker
bed cage and cab cage all 1.75 and mix of 4130 and DOM
    tundra front clip
2 sets of seats, and ungodly amount of tires and rims :) never a bad thing
    32 gal fuel cell
and al ot of other things

    3.4
    auto
    supercharger

The truck came with the new updated Uni-ball uppers from camburg
    aswell as spare tranny

It has 2.5x10 fox coilovers in the front w/ bilstein bumps
The rear has Bilstein 9100 coilovers and 4 tube bypasses per side (honestly noone has any idea what size the shocks are, there ginormous

I took the truck out for thanksgiving and had a little fun with it

    ShellReefDouble_1e4911f8efee6a39e1c09415a39b409bb0b0a1a0.jpg

    blowsand_81b14978e9aa1510483ae3514ec42130db31cba5.jpg

ended up snapping a driver tie rod 10 mins after doing shell reef, but that was after day 5 of mashing on it, so in my books its was a great buy, motor was fast as shit and the rear soaked up anything i could do it. the front on the other hand fell short.

a month or so later i ended up smashing the tranny/engine mounts chasing a sand rail that ended up leading me right to a random wall, that i charged, at 45 and it hurt, alot.

    smashed tranny mount

    and engine mount
    TruckDamage005_2282721472b76bfdb8c68f9f56ec8f0771b01530.jpg

so with this problem leaving me out of driving i quickly found a shop that would be interested in helping. I finally decided on Richer Racing after a great referrel from my step dad.

they really helped me out and made some bitchen mounts at a great price

    tranny mount

Got the truck working great, revalved front shocks and put some new tires and rims on it, did a little painting

    101_0058_b1cab376eda1255abce750b38ba9793b3482e53d.jpg

decided it needed a testing run at oco, did great, 90's through the straights and hitting 80's in whoops
then on the way back down the railroad from watching the mdr race, hell broke loose again, just cruising down the railroad at about 75 i hit a little riser and shot me up higher than i thought, came down and snapped the puny little camburg kit in half

    blablah003-1_b927d398df983b8cfc90d9a2226dfd6949150467.jpg

    blablah015_72f325b65388ab7a823521ba435af842e8df69a4.jpg

i snapped both lower arms off before where they connect to the spindle, i bent bother brand new uppers nicley spindles looked kinda funny and smashed all the inner fender well that was left.

So great, i probably have some of the worst luck possibly, none of these mishaps have been due to driver error, even though the last one seemed as it was.

I recieved a apology from Jerry over at camburg for the failure of the kit, and was offered some insentives to put his new race kit on my truck, but decided to go with the company who i know personally and trust.

SO back my truck goes to richer for Jonny and Mike to put his brand new(just finished designer yesterday) tacoma race kit
and to have an engine cage and some other misc stuff done.

    heres some tear down pics

the kits is 5 inches wider than stock per side
    everything is Cromo
    uniball/heim
wilwood 4 piston brake kit :))
    Will be Tig welded

the stock rack posed a huge problem in the design stages with this and jonny ended having to modify the stock rack to attain 0 bump steer, im not sure on travel numbers, its 16.5 right now.

i also picked up these bad boys a few weeks ago(traded the race bike for these)

thanks guys, trust me, this stuff isnt coming easy for me, or cheap. ive been working my ass off so i can get my truck back on all 4's again.

next week my frame should be back from getting straightened, and the kit should be hung shortly after, then comes the engine cage and the rest of the cab cage

when the truck was built no one made tacoma fenders to fill the massive ass rearend and tires im a little over 80 inches in the back, i think 82 with the new rims, and even these 6 inch fenders are about 3 inches short on each side.... the truck will definatly get all matching glass and a repaint before i race it.

im gonna keep the tundra clip, its the widest thing i can find, no tacoma clips will come even close to covering up a 86" track width
