I'm late in posting this, but here's my story (located in Oklahoma City).

I took my truck into the dealership around May 15th to have some work done on a failed window switch before a recent big road trip, and the service person informed me that there were "quiet a few outstanding recalls" on my truck. Well, one of them was the rear leaf recall. She told me that they could get the parts in about a week, so I waited. They called a week later and said they fixed the windows and other recalls, but the leaf spring parts wouldn't be available for a month or so.

True to her word, I just got a call from Jim Norton in OKC, and they have my parts ready for the leaf spring recall fix.

I'll report back once I get through the process.

And I'll throw this out one more time. If you're in Oklahoma or OKC, go to Jim Norton on NW Exwy. They have now proven to be awesome on four different trips out there, and have been nothing but forthcoming, honest, and willing to work with me. They have certainly impressed me as compared to ANY other dealership I've been to in Oklahoma or Texas.

I picked mine up this morning from Jim Norton in OKC. They completed the work in about 3 or 4 hours last night.

Here are a few photos (pardon the quality, I had to take these in a dimly lit parking garage this morning).

After a 10 mile drive through city / hwy driving, I really like the overall feel with the new springs. The ride is so much more consistent. It doesn't feel stiff, really, just a lot more solid and consistent. I haven't tried them with bed loaded down, but unloaded it drives a lot better. It appears to sit a little higher than before, but that could just be my imagination.

dont be surprised when you load it down and it still squats horribly. My '15 DCSB squats like a little bitch under a decent load....Time to upgrade to some new "dackers" :D

It can't be any worse than it was before. We went on a road trip recently that entailed about 40 miles of gravel roads with a few ruts and potholes. I was bottoming out on just about every dip in the road, and all I had in the back were a couple of ice chests and some plastic boxes with clothes and camping supplies in them. It was so sad.

Sick truck dude, dealers here have them on massive discount, could have snagged one up for a few thousand more than my new taco, but 13 mpg just wasn't stomaching with me. Still straight sex. Enjoy.

My 15 with 12,000 miles will be getting new springs next week when the parts come in. Been squeaking since about 2,000 miles on it. Dealer is also going to check my passenger window rattle again. Pretty lame that this needs to be done on a year old truck. You'd think by the last year of the 2nd gen they'd have this stuff figured out. My 04 never had any of this crap and I didn't exactly baby it.

I just got my leaf packs replaced. Truck sits 0.5" lower in the rear compared to the front. Dealership let me keep the old springs as I had a toytec AAL installed in the back. I 'm afraid that installing the Aal will lift it too much in the back, as the AAL is supposed to lift it 1.5"

Other concern is if it will fit or not, the new leaf pack has 4 leafs including the overload leaf, the old one had 3 with the overload. I'll be installing the AAL tomorrow so I'll give an update on this.

Here are some pics with the new leaf packs without the AAL.

My dealership took care of mine.... replaced easily. Mine had a AAL on it though so I was able to get them to fork over 230 dollars to replace the AALs with a 4 inch block kit. and now mine sags a little so I will be getting a custom pack in the future.

Just got mine replaced. I had an AAL on my old one, but it was old and rusty and I didn't feel like keeping it. The truck definitely sits lower in the back now, but I haven't measured to see how much. I will certainly need to buy a new AAL to gain back some height though.

Well it looks like I'm sagging about an inch or two in the rear. My shocks are clearly more compressed and the leafs themselves are practically flat if not negatively arched just sitting empty in my driveway. Very disappointed.
