Thanks man it's a big bummer and found out I gotta get a new bumper and new inert and outer tie rods. Should be out the body shop next Wednesday but in the meantime I'm stuck driving a rental F-150 and its driving me crazy.

Getting ready to part out my 1995.5. Bought 96 sx 4x4 2 yrs ago.Trucks almost identical. Both 4x4 reg. Cab. 96 in better shape than my original . except auto trans,2.7 not as strong as my 95.Just finished swapping engine,5 speed trans, transfer case, ecu, harness, driveshafts, radiator, brake pedal.Only couple glitches. Runs great and gas mileage much better.Love 5 speed. Setting up pay pal now. Shooting for next week. Didn't see any 1st gens on this thread so you probably don't need to know this stuff.,

was looking into the MOLLE pouches I want to attach to the seat backs. picked out a first aid kit, 2 pistol mag pouches, 2 camelbaks, a shotgun scabbard for my pistol grip shotgun, a pistol holster for my s&w 9mm, 12 round shotgun pouch, and a machete sheath. I'm gonna pick up actual pouches to hold stuff after all these come in and I see how much space is left. I think it be cool to have the camelbaks they hold 100oz of water and I can route the hose under the headrest so I always have water available. Plus they also have the option of attaching backpack like straps to them so I can take them out when I hike.

also got word of my custom wooden shift knob nearing completion, and my dad is paying for the first row of the wet okoles as an early bday present. so with that being said I'm gonna call them to change my order and get the back seats done to.

NewRider & Bsheriff11 I noticed you all posted in this thread (www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/257444-4lo-trac-abs-kill-switch-why-why-not.html). Did you do both the ABS kill switch and the YWM, or just one or the other? I'm not sure if it's because it's late and I'm having a hard time understanding how this works, or if I haven't used my truck to it's full potential and just turn the switch to 4wd and never gotten stuck. Either way I'm not sure exactly what these mods will do for me. Is there anyway to dumb it down for me? I do the YWM to get TRAC in 4LO, but if I also do the ABS kill switch I have to make sure ABS is on when in 4LO to get TRAC to work? What happens if you have the ywm with ABS off? And what is the positives and negatives of being able to turn ABS on and off?

Yo, Matt, was that you at Cracker Barrel at 11 today? I got called into work and saw a truck that looked like yours roll in, but it had a hard cap, not that soft one I've seen. I honestly don't remember what you look like, haha. Can't be too many Tacos that look like they actually wheel around here.

    YWM mod is useless IMO.

YWM is not completely useless, but it's free way to give you an edge in a certain situation, and honestly it doesn't work like its suppose to half the time, it's like you gotta hit the right RPMs for TRAC to kick in, so for something that's free and takes a few minutes can't hurt, but again, don't expect much.

Oh and yes, if you have both the abs kill switch and YWM on at the same time they would cancel each other out, so abs would need to be on when in 4 lo to give you LSD in your rear

On a side note, went to the gun show in Harrisonburg Saturday and price gouging was unbelievable, these local and national ammo/gun vendors have become exceptionally greedy. I bought cci .22 lr from cabelas last week at 23.99/500 rds.; gun show tryin to get the same for $85. I know it's supply/demand, but I will remember who stayed loyal to consumers like cabelas or gander and will never give those companies (many local) a damn cent.
