sounds good to me, as soon as my truck comes home and i have some free time i have a couple lights to stick behind mine

 

I love my satoshi. It's the work you put into it that makes it enjoyable. And now that you have a garage it will be easier. ( maybe get rid of two light) ahem.

the lights? or the truck getting home, b/c i figured out how im gonna fix the ds and it might be a pretty sweet fix that will be duplicated... we shall see

8 legs, 8 gussets, 8 frame plates & 2 sliders. 2 legs are longer than the rest and they all come longer than you need so they can be installed to your personal preferences

 

What kind of cost and time commitment does doing a Satoshi involve?

longer legs are for the back part to extend farther b/c the frame goes up at the back of the cab, in case u didnt know

You could do it in a day. Does not cost very much.

You need

Bondo
A piece of all thread with nuts and washers the same size
Epoxy
A fiberglass kit
Lots of sandpaper assorted grit
A mesh of whatever source you want. (mine is a grillcraft)
Paint.

That's the basics.

 

cost can be less than a 100$ depending on the metal mesh u use. commitment is chopping your grill all to hell and glueing and bondoing the gaps, etc etc etc... couple days if ur quick

 

Sweet. I was never a fan of them based off pictures I've seen on the forums, but after seeing yours in person I've changed my mind. Definitely want to tackle it one day.

I took my time and it took me two days. I was apprehensive bc I never used bondo before. But it was easy. I'm a do it myself kind of guy.

 

i grabbed my mesh from a metal shop in richmond a block away from maggie walker middle school... got a big sheet for 50$, planned on doing the lower valence but never got around to it

 

Hey guys, trying to sell my headers i got a few months ago and i figured i would put it here first before i go to the Buy/Sell forum... Berry, if you are still interested, let me know. These will work for the 05 and up 4.0L Tacoma's.


They are Doug Thorley Short tube headers and they need to be welded on to the cat, thats why i decided i'd rather save up for long tubes eventually. Never installed, looking for 250, will consider trades too.
